Crucifix is an experiment on creating a web literature story. Think of this story as a serial novel in a similar way to how Charles Dickens and several other great authors released their works to the public one chapter at a time. It is like a webcomic without the pictures with the goal of producing an engaging universe through online literature.
Crucifix is centered around Mari, a young girl in feudal Japan who is in a bloodbank for vampires. For the cost of giving her blood a set number of times, she is turned into a vampire. However it is not that simple. Donating blood is never that simple and is a dangerous gamble with their life leading her to wonder: Is a shot at immortality worth it?
