Bloodslaves
Mari – The main character of Crucifix. A young girl who has been in the castle Harvest since she was eight years old.Her closest friends are Kou and Asami. Her only item of posession is a bloodstained crucifix given to her by her father. She desparately wants to become a vampire for a second chance at life.
Asami – A young girl who became a bloodslave. Strongwilled, she helped Mari overcome her addiction to the vampire bite. Ever since, Mari looked up to her in high esteem. She hates vampires for undisclosed reasons and does not plan to become a vampire when her contract is fulfilled.
Kou – A young, frail looking boy who is the son of merchants. Mari treats him like a younger brother. A trickster, he always looks to poke fun at people and make light of the condition he is in.
Lina – A young, new bloodslave whose interactions with Mari are leading her down to her old ways again.
Masters & Mistresses
Ren – A former Bloodslave, Ren takes care of restoring a bloodslave to a full recovery with vampire blood. She hates to have her ordeelrs questioned because she only sees positives to being a Bloodslave.
Naomi – A former Bloodslave, she looks over the bathhouses. At one time a kind and caring woman, power over the slaves made her angry and cold. She rules the baths with an iron tongue and a largely unnecessary sense of urgency.
The Foreigner – Other than saving Mari’s life at the end of Chapter 2, not much is known about him other than he is from a country in the Far West.
